LulzSec Hacker Group Claims Attack On US Senate Website
SAN FRANCISCO (Dow Jones)--A hacker group that has claimed attacks on media and law enforcement affiliates extended its month-long cyber rampage on Monday, boasting it had cracked the U.S. Senate's website.
On Monday, the group, known as Lulz Security, posted a configuration file for the Senate's main website on its homepage. The material in the file suggests sensitive information was not breached, but does indicate Lulz Security infiltrated the Senate's website.
"This is a small, just-for-kicks release of some internal data from Senate.gov," Lulz Security said in its release. "Is this an act of war, gentlemen?"

Apple settles legal row with Nokia
Nokia notched up a victory Tuesday against archrival Apple Inc. as the iPhone maker agreed to settle a long-running row over patents. Nokia said the deal would boost second-quarter earnings, having warned at the end of May that it would miss targets. Analysts welcomed the news and said it would help Nokia concentrate on core business when it is facing huge challenges. Nokia could be estimated to get between one and two per cent of iPhone revenues, analysts said, which are seen at around $43 billion U.S. this year.

Google Updates Chrome Browser Security
Researchers tip leads to security fix to what Google called a "high impact memory corruption in style handling flaw."
March 14, 2011
By Sean Michael Kerner: More stories by this author:
A potentially damaging vulnerability to Google's Chrome browser has been discovered and fixed in an update, the search giant reported. The fix was released just days after Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) had already issued what it called the first stable Chrome 10 release last week.
Google said the CVE-2011-1290 vulnerability is a high impact memory corruption in style handling flaw. The update, Chrome 10.0.648.133, fixes just one flaw, on Windows, Mac, Linux and Chrome Frame for IE. The flaw is known as CVE-2011-1290 and was first reported by HP TippingPoint's Zero Day Initiative, by way a team of researchers at the 2011 Pwn2own event.

Apple iPad 2 Carries a BOM of $326, Up from iPad's $320
The Apple iPad 2, while thinner, lighter and faster, doesn't cost Apple much more to make. Notable pricey components, however, are the touch-screen, processor and battery.

Microsoft: No Can Do on NoDo WinPho Update
NoDo, the update that's supposed to bring copy and paste functions to the Windows Phone 7 platform, has been delayed. This is the second WinPho update mishap in as many months -- in February, an update caused many Samsung phones to freeze up. Redmond says NoDo will be good to go in the second
Once again, Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) has put off the unfortunately named "NoDo" update for its Windows Phone 7 operating system.
This time, the company's Windows Phone blog said the update, which CEO Steve Ballmer had previously stated would be out during the first week of March, will be available in the later part of the month.

Get ready to advertise on both Yahoo! search and bing with just one account ?
As part of the Yahoo! and Microsoft Search Alliance, all Yahoo! Search Marketing advertisers will transition to using the Microsoft Advertising adCenter search application. Before you get started, you may wish to review the following information:
Why do I have to transition to adCenter?
As part of the Yahoo! and Microsoft Search Alliance, all Yahoo! Search Marketing advertisers will transition to using the adCenter search advertising application. The Yahoo! Search Marketing application you're currently using will no longer serve ads once the transition process is complete.
Will I have to change any of my account settings to use adCenter?
There are some important differences between your Yahoo! account and adCenter that may require you to make changes. We have created an Account Compatibility Report to help you understand these differences and determine what, if any, changes you may wish to make after copying your campaigns to adCenter.
How do I set up my account in adCenter?
First, we need to link your Yahoo! account and your adCenter account. You are already signed into Yahoo!, but you will also need to sign in to your adCenter account, or sign up if you don't already have an account.
